Black Copper Updates, and a little about my Whites...

Hi guys,

Thanks to everyone for your responses about my black copper HMPK spawn, I'm sorry that this spawn is very small, if I had known the demand earlier, I would had tried spawning the pair again hoping the male will not eat the eggs.

Anyway, this post will be the updates of the spawn. There are about 10+ of them and sadly there are a few with red wash. This is very common in copper lineages and because the fishes are very young, the red wash could go away or stay depending on development, I'm hoping for the latter.

However, the entire spawn had very impressive finnages, with some already hitting 180degrees spread or more at this tender age of 1months+. Pictures will be attached for all to enjoy at the bottom of this post. :)

Because so many enquired about the Black Coppers and only a few are top grades (Clean + Great finnage, currently all only have ''Great Finnage'') I am in a dilema on how to sell them, perhaps I would auction the best few pieces in Arofanatics, or sell them to any interested party/viewers at the right quoted price. (Since my house is open to viewing for the Blue Full Masked HMPK)

PS: Don't worry, I do not seek high-end price tags for my fishes, an agreement on a reasonable price and I usually close the deal. Buyers who dealt with me should know. :)

Oh, and good news, my white platinium HMPK spawn is developing very well. Jarred some and their colour and form is very promising. Hope they will turn out great and then I will be putting them on sale. (perhaps in 2-3 weeks' time)

Release of the Blues...

Hello to all fellow aquarists,

I am off-loading my Blue Full Masked HMPK spawn at a cheap rate due to the massive size of the spawn. So that I could concentrate on jarring the rest of the upcoming spawns. Some nips are shown in the pictures but not to worry, the vast majority of the fishes have finnages intact.

DETAILS

Born: 4th September (Note that they are pretty young, great deal for groomers)

Parents: Both full masked, clean coloured (no red wash), Royal Blue HMPKs

Price: Ranges from $5-8, depending on the size. There will be discounts for more fishes purchased.

Developments so far: Masking (Almost all cheek masked now) and finnages are growing very well at this stage, the potential is definitely there. About half the spawn is Royal Blue and half is Turquoise. All clean coloured. Some appear to have white rims, could have BF blood.

Viewing and scooping (About 20 jarred so far. Also for sale) to be done at Sengkang Anchorvale Link, if you dont mind me choosing for you, we can deal in Clementi area too.

Brime Shrimp Eggs

De-capped or De-shelled Brine Shrimp Eggs are for sale now.

Suitable for home breeders who have only a few spawns at a time, so you need not buy a big bottle which will end up with alot of excess.

Just like microworms, these are very good emergency fry food, but for larger fries. Advised to feed at least 1.5 weeks old fries.

These eggs are fed directly to fries without hatching. I've tried the eggs out and about 80% of my fries do eat them. Long term feeding should allow the whole spawn to eventually eat them when the fries are hungry.

Storage: Keep refrigerated.

NOTE: Decapped BBS Eggs are fed DIRECT, Normal BBS Eggs are hatched. Normal BBS Eggs are for sale too. Same pricing and package size. :)
